I got a sweet gig going on right now at a sheet metal plant in Winnipeg. It's a 7 min drive from where I live, and that Bus Rapid Transit can take me there in 15. Winnipeg is still dirt cheap in relation to most of Canada, and even though the winters are hell, we have a kickass NHL team.
Manitoba summers are arguably one of the most underrated things in North America. Pretty much every direction you leave Winnipeg from, you will come across a nice beach within an hour. The city itself is hopping too.
