St Thomas Battery Plant Moving forward - 90GWh per year production 👀

That's 3x more than Giga Nevada. Very big.

They claim it's the "fourth largest building in the world", yet they cite only 800,000sqft. That's not even in the top 100 largest buildings. Still very high annual production if true though.

I don't like the $35/kWh subsidies.

China is producing & selling batteries for $35/kWh. So I'd be curious what St Thomas production costs are per kWh, especially after global LFP prices have plummeted the last 2yrs. Is gov paying the entire cost of every battery produced here? 🤔

Telo EV Mini Trucks

Smaller than a Mini Cooper...
But can still fit an 8x4 sheet of plywood in the box.

Not Canadian 😦 but an excellent footprint with high right to repair and simplicity.

The market is crying for these. People are fed up with giant trucks, OEM's who gouge them with proprietary software, and super expensive trucks ($100k+). This is how you win the EV race. Canadian builders need to get on this.
