I doubt it.
Canada being physically attacked is still unlikely. The CIA has known the end result of a hypothetical invasion of Canada for the last century- both countries destroyed.
The US could not even finish the job by going across the globe to fight much weaker countries like Afghanistan, Vietnam, and Iraq How on Earth are they going to occupy a nation of 41 million educated, wealthy, and culturally familiar people that can go undetected into the US to commit sabotage?
