🗄️ HOSTS, MAPS & PLATFORMS
Most people never see or know what hosts are. They host the data on the websites we use. Many Canadian sites are hosted in the US. Including our own military data!!! So if you sign up to a third party site (newspaper, retailer, etc) you may be sending data to the US and not even know it.
Data is arguably the most important infrastructure component in our era. So we need to talk about digital sovereignty.
