Totally agree. Honestly some really good voices in there.

But the mods are fucked!

They've got like 70 mods for maybe 4,000 DAU's. Babysitter's club. 🤣

And half of the mods are American! Again, I'm sure some are ok, but fuck that. We need Canadian-Only channels right now. No Americans allowed in here. And if Yanks start flogging here, I'll set thread visibility to members-only to maintain more Canada-Only privacy. We got'r. 💪

When you announced that you ahd created this forum, Molson Moron would not shut up about it for several days, and went on to compare you to random posters 20 years ago. I actually felt sorry for him. I mean how pathetic can his life be, that he takes the time to bring up former SSP members that mainly posted during that George W Bush era.

He's from the MB side of SSP. I was MB only too, until this Danger Yam stuff popped up. Carboy was the first user of MapleCivvy too.

Carboy loves drawing road designs. I actually built an app last year called Stroadz where you could upload road designs by map to conduct public feedback and real time design iterations. Basically an easily searchable road proposal database, where designs don't get lost in threads like a forum. Carboy probably added 100 designs on Stroadz.

Stroadz is still up, but I turned the front page into a funnel for MapleCivvy for now.

Now you have the lifelong backstory. 🤣

Give it time, this new forum is still in its infancy.

I might actually build my hometown's tallest downtown tower soon, I'll chronicle the process here (looks like it'll be steel frame rather than mass timber or concrete). So that'd be at least one mini-tower, plus the "insider" view on it 😛

Added green highlight on desktop for unread posts.

The counter (right) shows how many unread replies have occurred since you last checked the thread. So you know how much drama you missed out on. Once read, it goes back to counting the total thread replies.

The old bold didn't illustrate this very well. I hope the colour gives better clarity and isn't obnoxious. Try it for a bit and give feedback.
