For this reason, it's clear that SSP is not a reliable place to publish my research.

Therefore:

I've removed all my research from SSP.
I built a better competitor forum (MapleCivvy).
I'm exclusively hosting my research here now.

The reality is 98% of the Manitoba-side users on SSP are exceptional. Probably 80%+ of the Canadian-side SSP users are also great. I really hope they join here.

But there's a musty-ass vibe on SSP that runs deep into the mod pool. There's a pattern of banned accounts for very soft reasons, that basically equate to not falling into these mods pinhole worldviews. So the mods ban these accounts, creating a further regressive echo chamber in the forum.

Oh, and did I mention that the majority of the mods and admins are American? I'm sure they're nice people. But Canada needs a fully for-Canada, by-Canada place to congregate right now. So I built exactly that.
